PugProof Addon
Shows a tidy post-run prompt (one tap to rate conduct) and surfaces conduct signals right in the Group Finder.
Interface/AddOns, then /reload in-game.Two pieces: the addon records ratings in-game, the companion syncs them out of game, the way Wowhead and TSM do it. Zero gameplay impact.

The beta builds aren't code-signed yet, so each platform throws one hurdle at first launch. Here's every one of them and the way through.
SmartScreen warning ("Windows protected your PC"): click More info, then Run anyway. That's it, one time only.
Smart App Control is stricter: if it's turned on, Windows blocks unsigned apps outright and there is no "run anyway" for a single app. That's how Microsoft built it. Check whether yours is on under Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → App & browser control → Smart App Control.
We submit every build to Microsoft for review, which clears it for Smart App Control machines, but a brand-new release can be blocked for a few days until that review lands. Your options: wait for the clearance, or turn Smart App Control off (heads up: Windows only lets you switch it back on with a reinstall). Properly signed builds are on our roadmap, which ends this permanently.
Blocked at first launch: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to the PugProof Companion message. One time only.
"PugProof Companion is damaged and can't be opened": don't trash it. The file is fine. Drag the app into Applications, open Terminal, and run:
xattr -cr "/Applications/PugProof Companion.app"
Then launch it normally. Also make sure you grabbed the right build: Apple Silicon for M1/M2/M3/M4 Macs, Intel for older ones.
Make it executable first, then run it:
chmod +x PugProof-Companion-linux-x86_64.AppImage
If it exits immediately, your distro is probably missing FUSE 2 (AppImages need it). On Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install libfuse2.
That's normal. The companion lives in the menu bar (macOS, top-right near the clock) or the system tray (Windows, bottom-right; check the ^ overflow arrow if you don't see it). Click the PugProof icon and the panel opens right there.
On MacBooks with a notch, macOS hides menu-bar icons that don't fit. Close another menu-bar app and it'll appear.
The companion installs the addon automatically once it finds your WoW folder. Its window should say "Found World of Warcraft". If WoW lives somewhere unusual, use Locate my WoW folder in the companion and it will confirm the pick on the spot.
In-game: check the AddOns button at the character select screen and make sure PugProof is enabled. Once you're in, /pugproof opens the dashboard. If that works, everything's wired up.
Installing by hand instead? Unzip the addon download into World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns. You should end up with a PugProof folder in there.
PugProof is in a limited beta. Sign in with Battle.net and you'll land on the waitlist. Redeem your invite code on the account page and you're in. Uploads only count for approved accounts.
Then check the companion panel: it should say Connected. If it doesn't, click Connect and approve it in the browser. Ratings upload after you /reload or log out in-game, so give it a minute after your key.
Still stuck? Send a bug report with your OS and what you saw, and we'll figure it out.
